Writings about Bamboobee after this photo and paragraph 🙂
Around noon, I dropped by Farrer Park first to collect my race entry pack for the Green Corridor Run happening next Sunday. The events company behind this one is the same as the one who did Run 350, and I must say I think they are doing a great job in terms of greening events. LJ and I gathered 8 other friends and we are all running different waves. I’m running in wave 4. I would like to think I’m running, but really, I will be walking. Being a x-country runner in secondary school and soccer player in uni days is of no use to me now- I have been inactive and will take my own sweet time finishing this race.
After that I went over to Eunos to meet Sunny of Bamboobee. I first got to know Sunny around July 2012. Long story short I was helping out Kenny and Jamie of Greenriders Southeast Asia who was passing by Singapore, coordinate a cycling trip here. They stayed at Tree in Lodge where globetrotting cyclists are entitled to a 50% discount off the prevailing rate for each night’s stay. They also went for rides with Sunny of Bamboobee and the peeps from LovecyclingSG. I have been in touch with Sunny ever since.
So has Sunny been doing since then? Well, he has been working hard to launch his space in late May! I went down to the shop at the Singapore Handicraft Building: 72 Eunos Avenue 7 #02-06a Singapore 409570, today to check it out.
Bamboobee, which you can find on this website or this Facebook page is having their first Love Nature event launch from 28th May to 31st May 2014, with showcase of new design and accessories, GreenChamp Bikes, DIY kits and exciting programs. Check out the programme highlights for the respective dates in the poster below!
